I am attempting to shoot new easton carbons( st axis 340-10.3gpi) they are 28" in length.my draw is 26.5" I am shooting a 65 lb. recurve. The fletching end is slapping left before straightening. The arrow is stiff therefore cannot be weak. I release w/ fingers and thought maybe string twist but my release is normal and have no problems w/ aluminum 2216. I have attempted to weaken spine by using heavier field point ( 145 grains). The carbons are still slapping left. Should I go to a longer shaft say 30 inches?
